Explore D’Royal Bride’s story — from humble beginnings to becoming Puerto Rico’s most luxurious bridal destination.

A Legacy of Love, Fashion, and Royal Dreams

From humble beginnings in Vega Alta to becoming the Caribbean’s leading bridal fashion house, D’Royal Bride’s journey is one of passion, family, and vision. Every milestone tells the story of how a small dream blossomed into Puerto Rico’s most iconic bridal destination.

1992

Humble Beginnings in Vega Alta

Our story begins as Party Decoration Center, founded by visionaries Andrés Santiago and Damaris Díaz in the town of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. What started as a family-run business focused on event coordination and decoration quickly gained attention for its passion, creativity, and excellence in service.

At just 26 and 23 years old, Andrés Santiago and Damaris Díaz opened their very first business in the heart of Vega Alta, the town they proudly called home.

With three young children, what began as a dream soon became a journey that would change the bridal industry forever.

1997

The First Step into Bridal Fashion

As the demand for wedding planning grew, the founders noticed a need for quality bridal fashion. Inspired by the love stories they helped bring to life, they introduced bridal gown rentals into their offerings — marking the first chapter of what would become D’Royal Bride.

By 1997, they had expanded beyond event coordination and décor to open their very own bridal salon in Vega Alta, marking the start of a new era for the brand.

For their very first marketing campaign, Damaris became the face of their bridal salon, embodying the elegance, passion, and vision that continue to define the brand today.

A New Name, A Royal Vision

With the success of bridal fashion taking center stage, the business is rebranded as D’Royal Bride, embracing a mission to offer every bride a regal, unforgettable experience. The boutique relocates to Bayamón and expands its physical presence with two locations — one in Avenida Comerío Río Hondo and another along Carr. #2. The brand evolves into a one-stop destination, offering not only wedding gowns and accessories, including rentals and custom orders, but also a wide selection of dresses for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride, quinceañeras, formal evening occasions, and prom. In addition, D’Royal Bride rises as a leader in wedding planning and event design, launching all-inclusive packages that merge bridal fashion with expert coordination, styling, and full-scale décor — laying the foundation for the comprehensive luxury experience the brand is known for today.

Introducing Couture to the Capital

As D’Royal Bride’s brand recognition accelerated, so too did its growth. In 2009, founders Damaris Díaz and Andrés Santiago opened a couture bridal boutique in San Juan, marking a pivotal expansion into Puerto Rico’s capital city. This new location brought with it the most prestigious bridal designers from the Americas, Europe, and Asia — establishing D’Royal Bride as a true fashion house for international bridal excellence.

Resilience After María

When Hurricane María devastated Puerto Rico, D’Royal Bride faced the heartbreaking loss of its beloved Bayamón boutique. Rather than surrender to the challenge, the team turned adversity into action — rebuilding the space from the ground up with renewed purpose and refined elegance. As part of this recovery effort, the brand also launched a seasonal location in Plaza Las Américas, near Macy’s, introducing D’Royal Bride to a new audience and embracing a fresh retail environment.
